Dan Schonert

I've been a resident of Wabash County since 1984 and a State Farm Agent since 2001. My wife Cindy and I are now blessed to have 5 grandchildren who all live in Mount Carmel. Although neither of us were born here, we both consider Mount Carmel our hometown and we are proud to live here.

Cindy is a Dental Practice Management Specialist. We both love the freedom of being self-employed. We've been able to take advantage self-employment offers us by traveling, especially these last few years. We've now traveled to 49 states and, we think, 16 countries.

When you stop by my office, there is a good chance you'll hear the Dave Matthews Band playing in the background. Over the years, we have become huge fans of DMB, to the point we have even started to plan some trips in our RV around his concert schedule. Not much brings me more joy in life than attending one of their live shows.

I love being a State Farm agent. My decision to pursue a career with State Farm was one of the smartest I ever made. My hope is that my enthusiasm for being your agent shows through when you call or stop by the office. I treat it as an honor when someone chooses us to be their agent. When you decide to shop for insurance, I appreciate the opportunity to show the value a local agent can bring.
